Diolch o galon i’n holl gwsmeriaid; a'r caffi bellach wedi cau am y gaeaf mae'n gyfle i ni edrych 'nol a hel atgofion am dymor prysur yr Haf.

Er y buasai gwylia' yn yr haul yn grêt, does dim amser i ymlacio, mae tymor prysur y Nadolig o'n blaenau. Byddwn yn mynychu nifer o farchnadoedd Nadolig, yn cynnwys Gŵyl Fwyd a Chrefft Portmeirion (link) o Ragfyr yr 2il i’r 4ydd. Dyma’r bedwaredd flwyddyn i ni fynychu’r ŵyl, ac yn edrych ymlaen eto eleni, gobeithio eich gweld yno, mae’n ddigwyddiad gwerth chweil, a chyfle grêt i weld crefftau a chynnyrch safonol lleol.

Bydd y siop yma yn Pant Du hefyd ar agor yn ystod y penwythnosau ym mis Rhagfyr, yn gwerthu ein cynnyrch a phecynnau Nadolig.

Edrychwn ymlaen at eich croesawu nôl i'r Caffi fis Ebrill 2017. Os na allwch ddisgwyl tan hynny cofiwch fod Pant Du ar agor drwy’r flwyddyn i bartïon preifat neu nosweithiau blasu gwin i griw o 12 a mwy. Hwyl am y tro!

Thank you to all our customers; with the cafe now closed for winter it's a chance for us looking back and reminisce about the busy summer season.

Although a holiday in the sun would be great, there's no time to relax, a busy Christmas season is ahead. We’ll be attending several Christmas markets, including Portmeirion Food & Craft Fair (link) from December the 2nd to 4th. This will be our fourth year attending the festival, and look forward again this year. We hope to see you there, it’s a fantastic event, and a chance to see great local crafts and produce.

The shop here in Pant Du is also open during the weekends in December, a chance for some Christmas shopping.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the café in April 2017. If you cannot wait until then, Pant Du is open year round for private parties or wine tasting evenings for a group of 12 and more. Bye for now!

Grawnwin Rondo Pant Du Grapes 2016

Mae’r grawnwin bellach wedi eu casglu, a’r winllan yn ymbaratoi at y gaeaf o'u blaen.

Blwyddyn arall wedi hedfan, a’r grawnwin wedi ffynu eto eleni, er y tywydd cyfnewidiol cafwyd llwyth helaeth o rawnwin oddi ar y gwinwydd.

Bu teulu a ffrindiau wrthi yn ddygun yn casglu y grawnwin yma ganol mis Hydref, ac fel yr arfer cafodd y grawnwin eu cludo i windy Three Choirs yn Newent, Gloucester. Yno mae ganddynt yr arbenigedd i droi ein grawnwin yn win. Bydd yn fis Gorffennaf 2017 arnym yn gweld y gwin eto, gan obeithio am yr un llwyddiant a’r blynyddoedd gorffennol. Iechyd Da!

The grapes have now been collected, and the vineyard is getting ready for the winter ahead.

Another year has flown by, and the grapes have flourished yet again this year, despite the ever changeable weather there was a sizeable collection of grapes from the vines.

As tradition now, family and friends gathered to collect the grapes here mid-October, before being transported to Three Choirs winery in Newent, Gloucester. There they have the expertise to turn our grapes into quality wine. It will be July 2017 when we see our wine again, hoping for the same success as previous years. Cheers!
